Ukraine. Agrarian Fund ups grain reserves by 500,000 tons in two months
The Agrarian Fund of Ukraine currently has 1.6 million tons of grain in storage, which is more than a minimum required level of reserves at 1.5 million tons, Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk has said.

The prices for foodstuffs and beverage foods in September grew by 4.4% and for clothes and footwear - by 0.4%, utility services - by 0.2%, for services related to health protection - by 0.6% and for education - by 7.6%. In January-September, inflation made up 7.4%.

Saudis have US$ 500 million to invest

Ukraine. Economy Ministry Initiating Increase Of Floor Retail Price Of Vodka By 14% To UAH 20.5
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine is initiating an increase in the floor retail price of vodka goods by 14.1% or UAH 2.54 to UAH 20.5 a half-liter bottle, for grape wine by 33.3% or UAH 4 to UAH 16 a 0.7-liter bottle in glass and a liter in other tare, reads draft Government Resolution developed by the Economy Ministry.

Belarus-Ukraine trade 46.2% up in January-August 2010
In January-August 2010 the trade turnover between Belarus and Ukraine exceeded $2.6 billion (46.2% up on the same period 2009), BelTA learnt from the trade and economic group of the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine.
