In November buckwheat and potatoes went up in price, onions and carrots – went down
Buckwheat (+ 8.3%), potatoes (+ 7.4%), cabbage (+ 5.0%), sugar beet (+ 4.4%), pasta (+ 3.3%) and flour (+ 2.8%) increased in price the most among crop products in November.

Exports of live cattle increased by 66%
According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine for nine months of 2015 Ukraine has exported 34.5 ths heads of cattle, which is 66% more than the previous year.

Exports of agricultural products to Russia reduced to the level of Korea
According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine, as of 9 months of 2015 the share of Russia in exports of Ukrainian agricultural production constituted only 2% (USD 197 mln) and took only 15th place, the same as Republic of Korea (2% of total food exports, USD 251 mln).

According to customs statistics, in January-October 2015 imports of lard and fat constituted 46.6 ths. t, which is 21% less than the corresponding figures of the previous year.

Hemp growing has been revived in Ukraine
Decline in hemp growing was observed throughout the period of independence of Ukraine. This led to the fact that in 2009 the acreage of this crop amounted to merely 50 ha. For comparison, in 1990 this figure was 10.2 ths. ha. But now the situation is changing.

Price for pork increased again
As it was forecasted, the purchase price for live pigs started to increase again. During the second half of October, the price increased by 5,7%.
