Exports of honey decreased by 7%
In January-November 2015 Ukraine exported 30.2 ths. tons of honey, which is 7% less than during the same period of last year. In value terms, the reduction amounted to 15%. This happened as a result of the reduction of supplies to the EU due to competition with Chinese products, which are cheaper than Ukrainian.
The main markets remained the same compared with last year: Germany occupies a share of 33.9% of total exports, the USA - 26.1% and Poland - 14.3%.
