Ukraine increases supplies of oil and honey to Germany
In 2016 the domestic agricultural products were exported to the amount over USD 215 million to Germany, and the domestic agricultural products to the amount of USD 330 million were imported.

Europe is the main consumer of Ukrainian pasta
69% of the Ukrainian pasta is exported to the European countries. In January-November 2016, this product was supplied to the EU to the amount of USD 17.6 million that is 4.2 times more than the same period of 2010 (USD 4.2 million).

Leading agrarian associations have applied to Volodymyr Hroisman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, with a request to interfere without further delay into a critical situation which occurred with illegal closing of accounts in the system of electronic administration of VAT.

Ukraine makes the top five world potato producers
According to the FAO, only 5 countries in the world annually produce more than 20 million tons of potato, i.e. China (95 mln. tons), India (45 mln. tons), Russia (30 mln. tons), Ukraine (22 mln. tons) and the USA (20 mln. tons). Germany takes the sixth place in the world in potato production, but the gross output in this country is about 10 mln. tons.
