Ukraine: 3-grade wheat prices grew by 51% compared to the previous year
As of October 15, 2010, the average weighted purchasing price for 3-grade wheat in Ukraine totaled 1571 UAH/t, an increase of 51% compared to the price index of the same date of the previous year, and up 6% compared to the previous month indices, informed the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, referring to operative data of levels of average weighted purchasing prices for grains in Ukraine .

Ukraine: as of October 1, grain stocks down 24%
As of October 1, 2010, in Ukraine agricultural enterprises (except of small ones) and grain storage and processing enterprises stocked 17.9 mln tonnes of grains (including 9.9 mln tonnes of wheat, 3.2 mln tonnes of barley, 3.3 mln tonnes of maize, 0.4 mln tonnes of rye), down 24% compared to October 1, 2009, informed the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine on October 15.
