Zerno Ukrainy to export grain under intergovernmental agreements
Zerno Ukrainy will export grain under intergovernmental agreements, said Anatoliy Razgon, director of the Ag Ministry’s agricultural market development department. “This company shall perform some of the Agrarian Fund’s state regulatory functions in that part where this government agency just cannot perform these functions,” said the official.
Zerno Ukrainy is based on state-owned elevators. “Firstly, this is aimed at more effective use of state property... The possibility to empty elevators (the state-owned joint-stock company Khlib Ukrainy), to have a grain resource in the country, to increase its volumes,” noted A.Razgon.
