Production of juice in Ukraine reduced by 35%
During 10 months of 2015 Ukraine produced 217 ths. t of juice, which is 35% less than during the same period last year.
Reduction in consumption of this product in Ukraine is caused by decrease of purchasing power of population and restraint of supplies of juice to Russia.
Exports of juice during January-October in physical weight decreased only by 4% to 93.2 ths t (- 4,2 ths t). However, in value terms, the decline constitutes 37% - to USD 93.4 mln (- USD 57.7 mln), which was caused by devaluation of hryvnia.
