44% – 1Q16 “Extra Class” milk output growth
Production volumes of “Extra Class” milk increased 1.44x in 1Q16 (+25.4k tons) comparing to 1Q15. “Extra Class” milk share has surged in total output volumes from 10% in 1Q15 to 14% in 1Q16 (82.8k tons).
Experts note positive structural changes of high quality milk production in Ukraine during five years in a row. Thus, producers have doubled “Extra Class” milk output volumes as a result of long term investments into the industry.
“At present, gradual quality growth achieved by the industry via prior investments into three major factors as: hygiene, genetics and fodder; supports long-term investments efficiency in agricultural business along with educational programs & trainings. By the way, UCAB organize AgriSchool’s modules on a regular basis, helping agricultural companies to educate their staff with most actual technologies in farming”, said Mr. Eugene Dvornik, agro markets’ expert.
