Ukrainians learned the truth about milk products
On November 14 in Kyiv Ukrainian Agribusiness Club Association and AgriEvent Agency held a workshop Simply About Milk for Ukrainian consumers.
During the event leading nutritionists, professors and experts talked about production and processing of dairy products in Ukraine, shared tips to choose dairy products, dispelled most popular myths about milk and answered numerous questions from the audience. The participants tasted dairy products of the most famous brands, and the results of testing were announced at the end of the event. Also everyone could check calcium level and receive professional advice on the consumption of dairy products.
"This is our first experience in organizing events for consumers. In future we plan to hold a series of seminars Simply About Products and to tell the broadest segments of the population about food production in Ukraine. A large number of participants and lots of questions to the speakers showed that Ukrainians are interested in what they eat, tend to consume products of high quality, especially in conditions of price explosion. For this we attract the best experts of industry and try to fully cover topics that are interesting for consumers", - UCAB general director Taras Vysotskyi says.
