Ukrainian Agribusiness Club founded European Farmers Club
Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) started recently a new initiative – European Farmers Club – in order to unite efficient farmers in Ukraine.
“Since UCAB has also recently started its project “AgriEfficiency”, which provides comparative analysis of productivity and efficiency to Ukrainian agricultural enterprises, it only makes sense to bring together those farmers who work most efficiently in Ukraine. Aim of the initiative which takes place under the roof of UCAB is to interconnect the farmers and to provide them a platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, news etc.”, Karen Fisher, Deputy Director General of UCAB and Coordinator of European Farmers Club said.
So far the European Farmers Club has 19 members, among them farmers from Ukraine, the Netherlands, Austria and Germany. It is planned that the members of the Club will meet three or four times a year to discuss different topics of interest. The kick off meeting was dedicated to discussing questions on the purchase of land after the expected lifting of the moratorium.
