Ukrainian agrarians not to plan to increase sales of wheat
According to operators of the Ukrainian market of grains, the rates of wheat sales were not characterized with high activity. Typically, the number of the grain offers remained rather limited. At the same time, the average volume of wheat lots coming on the market, usually did not exceeded 100-300 tonnes.
As it became known to experts of APK-Inform Agency, reduction of the general harvest of wheat in the country, and strengthening market trend of wheat prices rising since the beginning of the season became the main reason for such situation development. As a result, in July 2012 the bid prices for milling wheat grew by over 300 UAH/t, and to date the average price totals 2050-2150 UAH/t EXW.
Moreover, in the terms of rather difficult situation with the condition of winter grain areas, which is estimated in some regions of Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, agrarians do not exclude that the price will continue growing. According to them there is no need to increase the rates of wheat selling.
