Ukraine to open grain exports in the nearest future
Agrarians of Ukraine sowed less than a half of the planned winter sowing areas to date, announced Leonid Kozachenko, the Chairman of the Employers Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine .
Ukrainian agrarians sowed less than a half of the planned winter sowing areas as of September 24, though previously, agrarians planned to sow at least 70%. Agrarians did not realized the required sowing works due to money absence, stated L.Kozachenko.
He added that grain traders refused to supply grains at the non-market prices to the State Reserve. The State Reserve asked to sell grains at the prices, which were lower by 30% compared to the average market price, stated he.
L.Kozachenko also noted that in the nearest time the Government will release the exports of grains. According to him, if the export become released, the prices will level off, stated he.
According to L.Kozachenko, today milling wheat price in Ukraine is lower compared to prices of the nearest neighbors by 1 thsd UAH. He noted that it is due to Ukrainian grains export barriers.
