Ukraine: Odessa port continues regular grain shipments despite decrease of other cargo flows
During the last months, Odessa sea trading port decreases almost all cargo flows, including petroleum and containers, but the port continues regular shipping of grains, declared the media-department of the port.
Since 1994, the stevedoring company "Brooklyn-Kiev" shipped nearly 39 mln tons from the port, grain cargos formed the majority of these volumes.
According to Alexander Pilev, the head of the production-shipment complex of the company, to date the port loads grains to three ships.
According to preliminary data, in February the company processed 335-340 thsd tons of cargos, including 305 thsd tons of grains.
