Ukraine increases capacities to produce sunflower seed oil
Against the previous year, capacities to produce sunflower oil in Ukraine increased by one million tons to 9.600 million tons, Director General of the branch association Ukroliyaprom Stepan Kapshuk has said.
According to him, in the present marketing year (started on September 1) the volume of sunflower seed oil production in Ukraine will be preserved at the previous year level, 2.900 million tons.
According to Ukroliyaprom forecast, this year, sunflower seed yield in Ukraine can make up approximately 6.5-6.5 million tons that actually corresponds to the previous year index.
