Ukraine harvests 18M tons grain to July 24
Grain Ukraine. Ukraine harvested to July 24 18.3 million metric tons of grain on 7.9 million hectares, or 80% of the total area to be harvested, with the average yield of 2.32 tons a hectare, the agriculture ministry reported Wednesday.
Barley harvest to date was 5.5M tons on 2.8M hectares, or 84% of the total area to be harvested, with the average yield of 1.95 tons a hectare. Wheat harvest to date was 12.1M tons on 4.7M hectares, or 82% of the total wheat planted area to be harvested, with the average yield of 2.59 tons a hectare.
