Ukraine harvested almost 5M tons grain to July 6
Grain Ukraine. Ukraine harvested to July 6 4.978 million metric tons of grain on 2.67 million hectares, or 26% of the total area to be harvested, with the average yield of 1.87 tons a hectare, the agriculture ministry reported Friday.
Barley harvest to date was 1.5M tons on 867K hectares, or 25% of the total area to be harvested, with the average yield of 1.73 tons a hectare. Wheat harvest to date was 3.3M tons on 1.6M hectares, or 28% of the total wheat planted area to be harvested, with the average yield of 1.99 tons a hectare.
