Ukraine exhausted its quota on export of processed tomatoes to the EU
According to data provided by the European Commission, at the beginning of April 2017 Ukraine has filled quota on tax-free export of the processed tomatoes. Poland (55.8% of export of all processed tomatoes), Austria (10.5%) and Germany (6.9%) are the main consumer countries of this product.
For the time being, the tax-free export quotas on 6 groups of products such as natural honey, sugar, cereal grains and grouts, flour, grape and apple juices, corn and processed tomatoes have been already exhausted to the fullest extent. The quota on wheat (86%) has been almost exhausted. The quota on poultry export in the second quarter of this year has been completely filled as well. The similar trend was also observed the previous year.
We would like to recall that this year volumes of tax-free export quotas should be increased on the following eight groups of products: natural honey, cereal grains and grouts, flour, processed tomatoes, grape juice and group of crops - oats, wheat, corn and barley.
