Ukraine continues to increase exports of agricultural products
Due to information of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, during the first eight months of 2016 compared to the same period in 2015 there is an increasing in trade of agricultural products, including exports - by 2.9% to 9,1 B USD and imports - by 11% to 2,5 B USD.
The imports share of agricultural products in the overall structure increased from 9.3% (in January-August 2015) to 10.4% in 2016 in all product groups. Supply of fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin from abroad increased the most- by 36% and animal products - by 18%, mainly due to the increasing volume of imports of frozen fish by 51%.
The exports share of agricultural products in the overall structure increased from 35, 8% to 40,1% in January-August 2016. Mainly the deliveries of plant products abroad have been increased (19,3 M USD). Basically the implementation of sunflower oil increased by 21% (+415.1 ths. tons compared with January-August 2015).
