UCAB promotes scientific cooperation in AIC between Ukraine and Germany
Time by the International Green Week in Berlin, which starts this week, the Association "Ukrainian Agribusiness Club" (UCAB) and the Humboldt University of Berlin signed a cooperation agreement.
Thus Humboldt University and UCAB, which have been partners for many years, are seeking to strengthen scientific cooperation between countries in agriculture. This cooperation agreement lays on information and knowledge exchange, initiation of joint research projects, workbenches and workshops, support of educational projects and personnel exchange to enhance professional training.
"We are working closely with Humboldt University for many years and I am glad that these relations get institutional framework. Humboldt University is an institution with a long history of significant achievements and experience in the field of agricultural research and education, so our cooperation will bring significant benefits for the establishment of Ukrainian-German scientific relations in agriculture, as well as for the development of the domestic agricultural sector in general", - the President of UCAB Alex Lissitsa says.
"Ukrainian agribusiness is a very dynamic and innovative sector, and I am very pleased that we are able to accompany the development of the sector through joint research projects with UCAB - one of its major players - " – says the Head of Agricultural Economics Department of Humboldt University Martin Odening.
