President of the Russian Federation imposed changes to the law about the federal budget
Dmitriy Medvedev, the President of the Russian Federation signed the Federal law "About the alternation to the Federal law "About the Federal budget for 2009 and the planned period of 2010 and 2011", declared the press-cutting service of the head of the state on April 29.
The State Duma accepted the law on April 15, 2009, and the Federation Council approved it on April 22, 2009.
The Federal law was accepted in order to provide macroeconomic stability and steadiness of the budget system of the Russian Federation, execute legislative social protection and other expenditure obligations of the Russian Federation, including those caused by the realization of the Program of crisis-proof measures of the Government of Russia for 2009 period.
The Federal law is also directed for strengthening of the social support of the population; preservation and development of industrial and processing potential; strengthening of the role of the domestic consumption in supporting of the economic growth; modernization of Russian economics and society; lowering of administrative pressure on business; growth of steadiness of the national financial system; supporting of the necessary level of macroeconomic stability.
Besides, the Federal law proposes to exclude from the Federal law "About the Federal budget for 2009 and the planned period of 2010 and 2011" the following regulations, concerning the planned period, and increase the general volume of costs of the federal budget in 2009 by 667.5 bln RUR at the expense of reserves of the Reserve Fund.
