PM Azarov reiterates no grain export restrictions
The government is not going to impose restrictions on grain exports, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told reporters as part of his working trip to Kherson region.
"There will be no restrictions on grain exports," Azarov said.
He also noted that the harvest is expected to be at the average figures of the last 10 years. Additionally, the premier added, there are carry-over stocks in Ukraine, which will suffice for the next year.
On the other hand, Azarov emphasized that the trends of the last year indicate an increase in the cost of grain due to the global environment.
As UKRINFORM reported, the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food predicts this year's grain harvest at 45-47 million tones.
