After Easter, prices for meet are expected to decrease
Upon the Easter holidays prices for meet are expected to decline within 6-10% under the influence of downward trend at the live cattle market. For the time being market operators have ascertained a high level of selling prices for beef in view of the necessity to sell products that were purchased at high prices in late March - early April. Prices for beef and pork are anticipated to reduce following close of ‘peak’ demand. The cost of chicken will be relatively stable with possible minor fluctuations within 3-5%.
