Over 40mn tons of grain harvested in Ukraine
As of November 1, Ukraine has gathered 40.03 million tons of grain throughout 14.65 million hectares, 98% of the plan. The average yield of grain and leguminous crops reaches 27.9 centner/hectare, according to the Agriculture Policy Ministry.
The Ukrainian farmers have also threshed 10.585 million tons of corn, 6.93 million tons of sunflower seeds, 1.48 million tons of soy.
Sugar been harvesting is in progress: 12.95 million tons have been harvested as of November 1 (average yield capacity - 395.3 centner/hectare).
