1Q16 oat’s export – 1.5x increased
Based on information published by State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Ukraine has exported 9.8k tons of oat what is nearly 50% plus comparing to the same period in 2015 (6.6k tons). Export has grown by 66% in cash and reached 1.5M USD. Leading importers of oat from Ukraine: India (35%), UAE (9%) and Greece (15.5%). Greece is one of major EU countries which import Ukrainian oat. Ukraine has used all no duties custom quotas volumes as of April 28, 2016 to the EU in capacity of 4k tons.
Global demand on oat has growth tendency and as a result oat prices in Ukraine (CPT) have grown by 36% as of the end of March, 2016 comparing to the same period in 2015 and reached 144.75 USD per a ton.
