Ministry of agricultural policy and food of Ukraine plans to provide John Deere Company (USA) the State guarantee to supply agricultural producers of Ukraine with highly efficient grain harvesting machinery within National project “Grain of Ukraine”. Within the project up to 1000 combines will be supplied.

According to the current legislation the investment proposal of John Deere Company has successfully passed the first stage of contest based selection, that is: consideration and support of proposition to supply to Ukraine modern highly efficient grain combines on the meeting of Commission of coordination of implementation of events referred to realization of investment projects in agricultural sector of Ministry of agricultural policy and food of Ukraine.

Today, according to demands of state inspection of projects supported by state Institute of innovative providing of National academy of agricultural science of Ukraine a business plan of investment project “Providing of agricultural producers of Ukraine with highly efficient grain harvesting machinery of John Deere Company” within National project “Grain of Ukraine” was developed and forwarded for consideration to appropriate state agencies defined by the Program of performance of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

According to business-project, highly efficient rotary combines will be supplied to Ukraine. These machines are in high demand and will as a first step only cover 15% of the actual replacement respectively modernization need. Delivery of this type of machinery under very favorable terms of financing will ensure further growth of agriculture sector in Ukraine. The Ukrainian agriculture is a strong contributor to the national GDP with significant future growth potential. Ukraine has a leading position in the worlds food supply.
