Khlib Ukrainy posts big losses for 2010
The state-run JSC Khlib Ukrainy cut its net loss by 4.5 times in January-September 2010 on the same period in 2009, to UAH 3.7 million.
According to a company financial report posted in the information disclosure system of the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, its net income in the first nine months of 2010 shrank by 10.7%, to UAH 14.65 million.
The company in Q3, 2010 saw UAH 7.87 million in net sales income, which is 25.2% up year-over-year. The company saw UAH 346,000 in net losses over the period, against a UAH 4 million net loss in July-September 2009.
Khlib Ukrainy was set up under a government resolution dated August 22, 1996. It has 119 subsidiaries, including 83 production enterprises, among which, besides elevators and storage facilities, there are 34 mills and 13 combined feed plants.
The total capacity of the enterprises in storing grain is about six million tonnes, and for handling grain less than two million tonnes.
The company also includes the Odesa and Mykolaiv port elevators.
