In January-February flour production in Russia increased by 7%
In January-February of 2009, the index of commercial production in Russia totaled 85.4% compared to January-February 2008, in February 2009 – 86.8% compared to February 2008, and 106.4% compared to January 2009, declared the Federal Service of State Statistics.
In January-February of the current year, flour production in Russia totaled 1.6 mln tons, an increase of 7% compared to the same period of the previous year. Groats production increased by 29.1% – to 207.000 tons.
