In 2009, VALARS Group to increase own proceeds by 36%
In 2009, VALARS Group (Russia) plans to receive proceeds at the level of 1.3 bln USD, declared Kirill Podolskiy, the general director of the group of companies.
In 2008, the proceeds totaled 958.9 mln USD. Thus, the general director forecasts the growth by 36%.
In 2009 marketing year, the company plans to increase the volumes of agricultural products output to the level of 1 mln tons, the volumes of grains and oilseeds sales to the level of 4 mln tons, including nearly 20% of export sales.
To date, the group owns two grain terminals in Russia (Taganrog and Azov), three large-scale linear elevators in Russia, four linear elevators in Ukraine. Agricultural subdivisions of the company cultivate 340 thsd ha of land areas in Russia and Ukraine.
The main trading offices are located in Lausanne (Switzerland), Moscow and Taganrog (Russia), in Kiev (Ukraine) and Almaty (Kazakhstan).
The Group also owns the terminal for shipment of petroleum products in Taganrog. Kirill Podolskiy is the main owner of VALARS Group.
