Imports of butter down 20 times
During 10 months of 2015 Ukraine imported 0.5 ths. t. of butter, which is 20 times less compared with the same period of 2014.
The increase of supply on the domestic market due to Russian embargo and the devaluation of hryvnia were the main reasons for such significant reduction in imports of dairy products. In previous years New Zealand and the USA were the main suppliers of butter to Ukraine, this year France and Germany are.
