Government of Ukraine canceled 13% extra charge to import duties, except cars and refrigerators
The Ministry Cabinet of Ukraine took decision to cancel 13% extra charge to import duties of all commodities, except of automobiles and refrigerating equipment, declared Oxana Prodan, the co-chairman of the Council of entrepreneurs of the Ministry Cabinet, on March 18.
According to the law "About the alternation to several laws of Ukraine in order to improve the condition of payment balance of Ukraine in view of the global financial crisis", several food products, clothes, shoes refrigerators and stoves, and automobiles received the temporary extra charge to import duties.
At the same time, on March 5, Julia Timoshenko, the Prime Minister of Ukraine declared about intentions to introduce the decree about the cancellation of the extra charge.
According to the Prime Minister, the extra charge influenced on the growth of prices for foodstuff in Ukraine.
