Finally, Ukraine will determine The National Meal!
Today Ukrainian cuisine with its famous borsch, varenyky, salo and other dishes has a very good chance to become known to whole Europe since the European football cup (Euro 2012) is getting closer. Because popularization of Ukrainian cuisine gains in importance now, the Association “Ukrainian Agribusiness Club” together with the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine launches the Ukraine-wide project “Taste Ukraine!” (http://www.taste-ukraine.com) which aims to increase the popularity of the national cuisine and improve the consumer awareness of Ukrainian products.
1 to 3 recipes of the dishes submitted to the Organizing Committee via mail or e-mail ([email protected]) by each participant of the project”Taste Ukraine!”.
The National menu comprised of the 10 dishes selected by the jury from the collected recipes.
The 10 National dishes included into the menus of the restaurants-partners as the National menu “Taste Ukraine!”
Of the 10 dishes of the National menu, selection of one National dish – the project winner – through online- and sms-voting.
Based on the results of the voting, the winner of the “Taste Ukraine!” project – National dish of Ukraine – selected.
Major prize “National dish of Ukraine” – UAH 10000 and the dinner for two persons in one of the restaurants-partners of the “Taste Ukraine!” project.
