Exports of live cattle increased by 66%
According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine for nine months of 2015 Ukraine has exported 34.5 ths heads of cattle, which is 66% more than the previous year. Live weight of cattle constituted to 10 ths. tons.
Egypt occupied the biggest share in the exports - 71% of total volume of supplied production. 5.8 ths. heads were exported to Azerbaijan, 1.9 ths. heads – to Uzbekistan. Ukrainian cattle was also sold to Syria, Kazakhstan and Russia.
The exports of cattle increased because exporters offered better price for cattle than domestic meat processing companies.
