Budget support of the agro industrial complex of Russia to increase by over 1.5 times
Despite the global financial crisis, the Government of the Russian Federation increased the volume of budget support of the agricultural sector in the year by over 1.5 times – to 182 bln RUR (5.39 bln USD), including contributions to the authorized capital stock of Rosselhozbank and Rosagroleasing, declared Elena Skrynnik, the Minister of Agriculture of Russia, on March 21.
According to her, the Government appropriates 17 bln RUR (509.49 mln USD) for financing of credit interest rates, including 7 bln RUR with 100% subsidizing for development of dairy and meat cattle breeding, and 10 bln RUR for credit subsidizing of other enterprises of the agro industrial complex. The authorized capital stock of Rosselhozbank received 45 bln RUR (1.35 bln USD) for providing of grain purchasing interventions and crediting of agricultural organizations, Rosagroleasing received 25 bln RUR (749.25 mln USD) for agricultural technical equipment supplies without advance payment. And the leasing term was increased to 15 years, reminded E.Skrynnik.
The well-timed conducting of spring field works became the one of the priority tasks for Russia, marked E.Skrynnik. To date, all agricultural economies of the country are completely provided with seed material, fertilizers, technical equipment and other resources. Also, the Minister signed the decree concerning the creation of the governmental register of agricultural commodity producers, which would receive governmental support. Such steps will allow increasing the effectiveness of budget resources usage.
