Biggest Ukrainian grain exporters in 2011/12 (inclusive May)
Grain Ukraine. Ukrainian grain shipments in the season 2011/12 (to May inclusive) amounted to 19.8 MMT
Ukraine exported above 12.2 MMT of corn for the period September-May 2011/12.
Shipments of rest grain in July - May 2011/12 amounted to only 7.5 MMT, including wheat - 4.9 MMT, barley - about 2.3 MMT, peas - about 130 K tons and sorghum - about 105 K tons
According to the Grain Ukraine, the main directions of export of Ukrainian grain in this season are the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Iran, Israel, Syria ..) - 6.6 MMT (33.7% of total shipments), North Africa (Egypt Tunisia ..) - 5.9 MMT (30%), EU-27 (Spain, Portugal ..) - 4.5 MMT (22.6%) and East Asia (Japan, South Korea ..) - 1.9 MMT (9.4%).
