Belarus started sowing cereal crops

Belarusian agricultural enterprises began sowing cereal crops, reported the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
As of May 11, agrarians sowed buckwheat throughout 4.2 thsd ha of the planned 35 thsd ha, millet – 2.8 thsd ha of 10.2 thsd ha.
The country also started sowing food peas, and the sowings already occupied 3 thsd ha.
Belarusian agricultural enterprises almost completed sowing of spring crops - 2568.3 thsd ha (99.2% of the plan). Agrarians sowed maize throughout 683.7 thsd ha (78.1%), including grain maize - 214.7 thsd ha (139.4%).
