As of March 13, Ukraine sowed nearly 200 thsd ha of spring crops
As of March 13, Ukraine sowed spring crops throughout about 200 thsd ha, declared Yuri Lusan, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy, on March 13.
According to him, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has almost finished the sowing campaign of early spring crops, Odessa, Kherson, Nikholayev and several other oblasts provide actively sowing operations.
This year, the rates of the sowing campaign are somewhat lower compared to the previous year due to cold weather conditions. According to the First Deputy Minister, agrarians are satisfied with material and technical resource maintenance for providing of the spring filed works and have all necessary resources at the level of the previous year, except of mineral fertilizers.
At the same time, agrarians have some financial problems, added Y.Lusan.
