Alex Lissitsa to leave the Board of Directors of Agroton
Alex Lissitsa announced his leaving the Board of Directors of the Agroton company (Lugansk), the largest agricultural producer in Eastern Ukraine. Alex Lissitsa has occupied the post of non-executive director of Agroton since November 2009.
Alex Lissitsa thanked the Agroton management for fruitful collaboration, which was marked by debut on WSE (Warsaw Stock Exchange) in autumn 2010, and wished the company success in future projects.
Alex Lissitsa – the President of Ukrainian agribusiness club Association, the leading specialist in Ukraine in the field of strategic management, administration, efficiency and productivity analysis of agricultural and processing enterprises.
Professional experience: He worked as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe (IAMO) Halle (Saale), Germany for some time. Since 2006 till 2007 he occupied the position of the General Director of Ukrainian Agricultural Confederation. Since 2007 he is the out-of-staff advisor of the Minister of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine and the Committee in the Issues of Agricultural Policy and Land Relationships of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He is a member of International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE), European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE).
Mr. Lissitsa is an author of plenty of scientific articles published in the internationally recognized professional journals.
