9 regions Feb pork prices up 0.3-4.2%, to UAH36,33-42,45 per kg
Feb pork prices have grown to UAH36,33-42,45 per kg, up 0.3-4.2% against Jan on 9 regions markets and simultaneously sagged to UAH35,08-50,31 per kg, down 0.3-0.9% as of Jan on 8 regions markets, reported Ministry of Economics representative.
As to report, Feb pork maximal (UAH50,31 per kg) and minimal (UAH33,3 per kg) prices have been registered correspondingly on c. Kyiv and c. Sevastopol markets.
As to Ministry of Economics, Feb pig fat prices have risen to UAH17,85-30,14 per kg, up 0.5-10.0% against Jan on 21 regions markets and simultaneously dipped to UAH16,8-37,19 per kg, down 0.2-2.5% as of Jan on 3 regions markets, with pig fat highest (UAH37,19 per kg) and lowest (UAH16,8 per kg) prices having been registered correspondingly on c. Kyiv and AR of the Crimea markets.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in Jan 2009 pork prices had improved to UAH33,3-44,4 per kg, up 0.4-8.6% against Jan on 21 regions markets and simultaneously reduced to UAH35,77-50,63 per kg, down 0.9-4.3% as of Jan on 3 regions markets.
As to Agro Perspective, in Jan 2009 pig fat prices had climbed to UAH16,83-38,13 per kg, up 0.3-9.5% as of Dec 2008 on 19 regions markets; at same time, prices shortened to UAH17,43-23,0 per kg, down 1.1-8.3% against Dec 2008 on 4 regions markets.
