Foreign direct investment in agriculture of Ukraine decreased by 13,4%
At the end of the first half of 2014, foreign direct investment in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in Ukraine decreased by US$ 104,1 million or 13,4% to US$ 672,5 million, compared to the total investment at the beginning of the year. This was reported in the Association “Ukrainian Agribusiness Club” (UCAB).

Ukrainians have reduced consumption of foreign pork. Over nine months of 2014 pork imports to Ukraine dropped 4.2 times to 26.185 mn t (US $68.01 mn) compared to the same period in 2013, according to the State Fiscal Service. President of the Association of Pig Producers Artur Loza says the share of imports of pork in 2013 reached 25–30%.

Sales of grain and leguminous plants in Ukraine increased by 10,4%
For the first two months of 2014/15 MY (July-August), 8,3 million tons of grains and leguminous plants were sold by the Ukrainian agricultural enterprises, which is 10,4% more than the same period of last marketing year. Ukrainian exporters used 99.8% of tariff rate quotas for grains exports to the EU
