Farmers harvest over 21 m tons of grain
Farmers harvested 21.2 million tons of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine from an area of 7.49 million hectares (70% of the target), as of July 18, with an average yield being 28.3 quintals per hectare, the press service of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine has reported.

These are the results of the international comparison of the cost of production of milk, which were presented at the annual congress of the Association "European dairy farmers" held in Falkenberg (Sweden) on June 26-28, 2013.

For the first time Ukraine has managed to avoid the seasonal decline in milk prices
In the first half of 2013 the average purchase price of Class I milk from farms ranged from 3,75 to 4,05 UAH/Kg. This slight variation means that Ukraine for the first time within many last years has managed to avoid the seasonal collapse in prices.
