Government predicts GDP growth in 2010
In 2010, Ukraine's nominal GDP will reach UAH 1.178 trillion, and real GDP - 103.7% of 2009. This forecast was made in the 2010 state program for economic and social development, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and presented in parliament on November 19.

Grain sowings to total nearly 16 mln ha
According to prognostic data from regions, as of November 12, grain sowings in Ukraine for the harvest-2010 are expected at the level of 15.9 mln ha, which corresponds to the indices of the current year, declared Yuri Melnik, the Minister of Agrarian Policy.

38% of examined juice fails to meet standards
Specialists of the State Committee for Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy of Ukraine (Derzhspozhivstandard, Gospotrebstandart) have examined 73,000 litres of juice and juice-containing products in Q3 2009, 28,000 litres of them (38%) have been declared not to meet the existing norms, and have been withdrawn from retail outlets.

Beet sugar output 1 million tons
Ukrainian sugar refineries have produced 1.08 million tons of beet sugar, which is 9.5% less on the year, the UkrSugar association reported.
