Ukraine not to impose limitations for grain exports in the future
Nikholay Azarov, Prime Minister of Ukraine, is completely sure that Ukraine will not impose any limitations for exports of grains in the future, informed the head of the Cabinet of Ministers during meeting with Christopher Smart, Deputy Head of the US Department of Finance, according to announcement of the Department of information and public affairs relations of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 7.

Ukraine: Verkhovna Rada approved in principle the draft law on auction sales of the export quotas
On April 7, 2011, at the plenary session the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine totally approved the draft law #8324 about auction sales of the export quotas for grains (“On making of amendments to several laws of Ukraine concerning the State support of development of the agriculture”) with some amendments in accordance with findings in the second parliament reading.

Russia: Ministry of Agriculture realizes the complex of measures for shipment of feed grains from the intervention fund
In accordance with the decree of the Government, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation realizes the complex of measures for shipment of feed grains from the intervention fund without providing of auction trades. 224 elevators of the intervention fund will realize the unloading operations, declared Elena Skrynnik, Minister of Agriculture, on March 31.

Ukraine: the court partially sustained the claim of Nibulon for distribution of the grain export quotas
The Nikolayev district administrative court partially sustained the claim of one of the largest Ukrainian producers and exporter of agricultural commodities, Agricultural Limited Liability Company Nibulon Ltd., sued against the two Ukrainian Ministries concerning legitimacy of grains export quotas distribution on January 11, 2011, according to the decision of the court dd.
