Soybean production in the period of 2001-2012 increased by 20 times. If the gross harvest of oilseeds in 2001 amounted to 120 thousand tons, in 2012 it was 2.4 million tons.

EBRD may slash financing for Ukrainian projects 30% in 2013 over poor investment climate
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development may provide Ukraine only about 70% of the annual financing total if the country does not improve the investment climate, EBRD Director for Local Currency and Capital Markets Development Andre Kuusvek told journalists on Wednesday. If conditions improve, financing might reach the level of past years, or about 1 billion euro, he said.

Early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine have been harvested from 125,000 hectares, and almost 300,000 tonnes of grain has been threshed, Agricultural Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk has said.

KSG AGRO imports 1,467 hogs from Denmark
The Niva Trudova farm in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Region received 1,467 hogs from the Danish company Breeders of Denmark. Following this delivery, the number of hogs on the farm has increased to a total of approx 3,000 sows and boars.

EBRD to finance largest biogas grid-connected project in Ukraine
