Cold weather will not harm winter crops, Kulbida assured
Cold weather will not affect the condition of winter crops, director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida told a briefing. «In most regions of Ukraine winter crops passed this winter well. The total percentage of areas, which are in poor condition, amounts to 8–10% that is completely normal and is observed every winter,» he said.

Agrarians sowed 0.5 mln hectares with winter grain crops
Spring field works are underway in Ukraine. The sowing campaign is going on in 6 regions. Nowadays already over 454 thousand hectares were sown with winter crops. Moreover, targeting to conduct the spring field campaign in optimal agro-technical terms the agriculture producers are supplied 102% with seeds, 109% with fertilizers and 80% with means of protection of plants.

Serhiy Tymchenko: Minimal term of land lease is envisaged to fix at the level of 7 years
