Malaysian palm oil extends losses
Malaysian crude palm oil futures dropped 0.4 percent on Wednesday, extending recent losses, on high stock levels. But expectations for exports to gather steam in November boosted support at the lower levels and traders said palm oil holding a $120-$130 discount to rival soyoil should keep orders flowing in.

U.S. 2010 wheat, soybean carryover raised
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Nov. 10 projected larger 2010 U.S. carryover stocks of wheat and soybeans but a smaller carryover of corn compared with October projections in its Nov. 10 World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report. World wheat and soybean carryover also was raised for 2010 while world corn was lowered.

Economy ministry proposes setting limit level of profitability for grain storage
The Ukrainian Economy Ministry has proposed setting the limit level of profitability for the reception, storage and loading of grain for economic entities at no more than 20% from January 1 to December 31, 2010.

State of winter sowing - hydrometeocenter
The state of winter grain culture sowings is good and satisfactory, on separate areas in Luhansk region and Crimea they are unsatisfactory. In some places, sowings are damaged by agricultural pests, the Hydrometeocenter informs.

Sunflower yield to amount to 6.5-6.6mn tons
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has upgraded the sunflower yield to 6.5mn - 6.6mn tons. According to the ministry, nearly 99% of sunflower has already been harvested.

Ministry of Agrarian Policy increased forecast of sunflower harvest in 2009
In the current year, sunflower harvest in Ukraine will total 6.5-6.6 mln tonnes, as opposed to nearly 6 mln tonnes of the previous forecast, declared Yuri Lusan, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, on November 6.

Agrarian Fund of Ukraine stocks 2.4 mln tonnes of grains
The Agrarian Fund of Ukraine stocks 2.4 mln tonnes of grains, including the volumes given to agrarians as collateral for receiving of budget lend, declared Yuri Lusan, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, on November 6. Such grain volumes will completely cover realization of interventions during the whole marketing year.
