Sunflower yield to amount to 6.5-6.6mn tons
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has upgraded the sunflower yield to 6.5mn - 6.6mn tons. According to the ministry, nearly 99% of sunflower has already been harvested.
In 2008, the yield amounted to 6.53mn tons of sunflower against 4.2mn tons in 2007.
