Exports of eggs increased by 7%
According to customs statistics, during 9 months of 2015 exports of eggs totaled 46.3 ths. tons, which is 7% more than the corresponding figures of the previous year. Exports of egg products (egg powder) increased by 5.8% to 2 ths. tons.
The main markets for Ukrainian eggs are Iran (56%) and the United Arab Emirates (30% of supply). The largest volume of egg powder was supplied to Denmark - more than 50%, Jordan - 11% and Indonesia - 9%. However, the profit from the exports of eggs and egg products this year decreased by 32% and amounted to USD 86.2 mln.
