Ukrainian butter exports are at record level
In the first eight months of the current year, the butter exports from Ukraine totaled almost 18 thous. tons - an absolute record for the last ten years. This volume is already 1,5 times more than the exports for the whole last year. At the same time, in 2016, 12 thous. tons of butter were exported abroad.

Agrarian associations expressed their proposals on state support for agro-industrial complex in 2018
On October 4, a round table on “How to make state support of agribusiness in 2018 as effective as possible” was held. At the meeting, the heads of agricultural profile associations, members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, people's deputies formed the position of the sector on the order of the target programs and the use of state support funds for 2018.

Pork and chicken become cheaper
Purchasing prices for pork and chicken fell in early October. Thus, the cost of live pork and chicken carcasses decreased by an average of 3%. As at 2 October, according to UCAB monitoring data, the average price of bacon pork breeds (live weight) varied from 47 to 48 UAH/ kg that is 1-2 UAH / kg lower than in September. The price of chicken meat also decreased by an average of 2-3 UAH / kg, as at 2 October, the cost of chilled carcass was in the range of 46-48 UAH / kg.

Every fourth ton of export millet in the world is Ukrainian
According to the results of 2016, Ukraine ranked first in the world on volumes of millet exports and provides 25% of world exports. Despite the leading position in the world in terms of exports, the gross yield of millet in Ukraine in 2016 amounted to only 189 thous. tons or 0.6% of world production. India is the leader in the millet production and produces 11.6 mln tons, Nigeria - 4.8 mln tons, and Niger - 3.9 mln tons, while Ukraine is on 20th place. The volume of world trade in rye has fallen to a record low
In 2016, the volume of world trade in rye was the lowest for the last 15 years and amounted to only 960 thous. tons. The largest exporters were Poland, Germany and Canada with shares of 40, 20 and 13%, respectively. Since 2013, the volume of world trade in rye decreases annually by 20%.

Ukrainian beef exports doubled
For the first seven months of 2017, exports of frozen and chilled beef totaled USD 64 mln that is twice more than the same period last year (USD 30 mln). In total, in 2016 the export of Ukrainian beef amounted to USD 82.8 mln. If the trend continues, there are all chances to exceed last year's figures.

Ukraine has increased its share on the world oats market
Over the past 10 years, Ukraine's share on the international oats market has increased from 0.6% in 2007 to 1.5% in 2016 - the total world trade amounted 2.9 mln tons. Thus, Ukraine's exports increased from 16, 5 thous. tons in 2007 to 42 thous. tons in 2016.

Producers may earn USD 165 million due to the increase of quotas for duty-free export to the EU
According to the calculations of Association ‘UCAB’, additional income due to the increase of quotas for duty-free export of agricultural products to the EU countries may amount to approximately USD 165 mln. The highest incomes will be received on group of cereals and products of their processing.
