Ukraine exports oil bearing cultures one third up over 2012/2013 marketing year - Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry
Since the beginning of 2012/2013 marketing year, as of January 21, 1.9 million tons of oil-bearing cultures were exported from Ukraine, which is 26.6% up against the same date of 2011/2012.

Agrarian Fund sells grain at UAH 0.5 billion at agricultural stock exchange
The Agrarian Fund sold nine lots to the amount of 225,300 tons of grain at the first open stock exchange trading. The Fund received about UAH 492 million, which will be enough for advance payment for forward contracts.

The US Department of Agriculture raised forecasts world production of corn and soybeans, only slightly reducing of wheat. Meanwhile, forecasts of global ending stocks for wheat exceeded market expectations, and for corn and soybeans - are lower.

Ukrainian farmers produce twice as many agricultural goods as consumed in the domestic market. Over the past year, their exports in monetary terms increased by almost 40% to $17 billion, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Mykola Prysiazhniuk, told a briefing at the Cabinet on Wednesday.
