Belarus increased purchasing prices for agricultural products of the harvest-2011
The Government of Belarus increased purchasing prices for agricultural commodities of the harvest-2011, realized for the state purposes. The decision appears in the Decree of the Council of Ministers #156. According to the Decree, the average growth of purchasing prices for grains and groats crops of the harvest-2011 totals 28%, due to the current price conjuncture on the foreign market, low profitability of plant growing products, rise of material expenses. Such growth is object to support profitability at the level of level 20%.

Ukraine: in the first half year of 2010/11 MY Kernel exported 1.25 mln tonnes of grains
In the first half year of 2010/11 MY (July-June), Kernel Group, one of the largest Ukrainian operators of sunflower oil market and grain exporter, supplied 1.25 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets, including 0.86 mln tonnes in the forth quarter, according to the company report.

Ukraine: over 56% of winter crops sowings face good condition
According to data from regions, as of February 10, 2011, winter grain sowings in Ukraine faced good condition throughout 4.54 mln ha, which totaled 56.2% from the general winter grain sowing areas. 3.04 mln ha of winter grain sowings, or 37.6%, faced satisfactory condition, marked the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine. Nearly 500 thsd ha (6.2%) of winter crops sowings showed weak and thinned condition.
